Original 1977 Gibson Dove in Rare Ebony finish featuring an all maple build with square shoulders.
Top has been refinished long ago (with some slight bubbling above the sound hole) when the soundboard was most likely reshaped with the bridge being sanded down asymmetrically to match a slight twist in the neck which has been reset at sometime in it's life with some clear overspray evident at the joint, original frets are in good condition and have about 70-60% left on a gorgeous dark ebony fingerboard, bound in white which has aged to a honey-amber with the finish, greening out this once custom order 'Ebony' paint job.
Original Grover tuners are smooth and holding tune perfectly. Small crack in the neck joint however very stable.
A gorgeous playing guitar that includes the original hard shell case, hangtags and freshly setup with D'Addario XT coated strings that bring out all of the best characteristics of this 45 year old guitar.
